Allison Transmission Added to the Wilshire 5000 Total Market Index

INDIANAPOLIS, April 23, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ALSN), the world's largest manufacturer of commercial duty fully-automatic transmissions and hybrid-propulsion systems, announced today that it was added to the Wilshire 5000 Total Market Index(SM) (Wilshire 5000(SM)) effective after the markets' close on Friday, April 20, 2012.
