EnerDel's Lithium-ion ESS Vigor+ pack is 'Buy American' compliant and now fully approved as Allison support equipment

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- EnerDel and Allison Transmission (NYSE: ALSN) have entered into a strategic relationship naming the battery manufacturer's PP320-689-LP Vigor+ pack as approved Allison support equipment. EnerDel is a leading supplier of advanced lithium-ion batteries and ESS for heavy-duty transportation and hybrid power applications.

The low-profile Vigor+ pack is approved for use with the Allison Hybrid H 40/50 EP™ system installed in diesel-hybrid buses globally.
