GM to produce Allison 10-speed transmission for GMC Sierra Heavy Duty trucks
INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 23, 2019-- Allison Transmission Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ALSN), the largest global provider of commercial duty fully automatic transmissions, announced today, along with GMC, the availability of a 10-speed, fully automatic transmission in the new Sierra heavy-duty truck. Equipped with the Allison branded 10-speed transmission, the 2020 Sierra will debut in February 2019.
